Mental Health Awareness Week 2024

Moving More For Our Mental Health

People of all ages are being encouraged to move more for their mental health, as part of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week 2024.

The theme of this year’s campaign is “Movement: Moving more for our mental health”.

One of the most important things you can do to help look after your mental health is regular movement. This is because movement is great for increasing energy, reducing your anxiety and stress and help you feel generally better.

Mental Health Support Options Through The Waiting Room

The Waiting Room will be highlighting a couple of local services this week that can support your mental health, but we are also keen to ensure you know what leisure opportunities are out there for you in Birmingham and Solihull and it’s easy to find what’s out there through The Waiting Room Directory.

So, if you live or work in Birmingham or Solihull, check out our Leisure Domain and our Mental Health Domain at The Waiting Room Directory.
